Privacy Policy

Lunamat Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Lunamat mobile and web based application. This Privacy Policy explains the information collected through the app, why it is collected, how it may be used or shared, and the choices available to you.

1. App Services

The app provides AI assisted, movement-analysis, virtual instruction, training, and feedback features for users, teachers, students, and trainees initially for Yoga.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the features used, we may collect:

2.1 Account Information

  • Name
  • Email address
  • User ID
  • Account role, such as student, teacher, trainee, or trainer

2.2 Images and Pose-Analysis Information

To provide pose analysis and exercise feedback, the app may collect and store:

  • Images captured through the device camera
  • Body-pose landmarks
  • Joint-position information
  • Pose and movement measurements
  • Exercise or session information
  • Feedback generated from the analysis

This information is collected only for app features such as pose analysis, movement feedback, class review, and teacher assistance. We do not use pose landmarks for facial recognition or identity verification.

2.3 Virtual Class and Teacher-Training Information

  • Information visible during the class
  • Pose-analysis results
  • Teacher comments and feedback
  • Student or trainee submissions
  • Class or training history
  • AI-generated feedback or summaries

2.4 Subscription Information

Subscriptions and payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store complete payment-card information. We may receive subscription-related information such as:

  • Subscription product
  • Subscription status
  • Renewal or expiration status
  • Transaction identifier

Apple and RevenueCat may process this information to validate and manage subscriptions.

2.5 Technical and Support Information

  • Device type
  • Operating-system and app version
  • Crash or error information
  • Support requests and communications

3. How We Collect Information

Information may be collected:

  • Directly from the user
  • Through the device camera
  • During use of pose-analysis features
  • During virtual classes or teacher-training activities
  • Through subscription services
  • Through service providers integrated into the app

The app requests device permissions before accessing features such as the camera or microphone.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate the app
  • Analyze poses and movements
  • Generate exercise and posture feedback
  • Enable virtual instruction
  • Allow teachers to review student performance
  • Support teacher-training and evaluation
  • Generate AI-assisted feedback and summaries
  • Manage accounts and subscriptions
  • Provide customer support
  • Diagnose technical problems
  • Maintain the security and reliability of the app
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We will not use collected information for an unrelated purpose without providing appropriate notice and obtaining consent where required.

5. Artificial-Intelligence (AI) Processing

The app uses internally developed artificial-intelligence and machine-learning systems to provide pose analysis, exercise feedback, teacher assistance, and training support.

AI processing may use:

  • Images
  • Body-pose landmarks
  • Movement measurements
  • Exercise information
  • Teacher comments or instructions
  • Class or training information

This information may be processed on the user's device or within our internal systems and databases. We retain this information until the user's account is deleted, unless it is deleted earlier by the user or must be retained for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Selected information may also be used to train, test, and improve our internally developed pose-analysis and feedback models. We do not disclose this information to an external AI provider unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy.

6. Sharing of Information

We may share information only with service providers needed to operate the app, such as:

  • Apple, for App Store subscriptions and payments
  • RevenueCat
  • AWS as a Cloud storage, database, video or virtual-class or authentication

These providers may receive only the information needed to perform their services. We require service providers that receive user information to protect it consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the app, or our legal rights.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the app's services and meet applicable legal, security, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements.

Unless deleted earlier by the user, the following information is retained until the user's account is deleted:

  • Account information
  • Images
  • Pose landmarks and movement information
  • Class or training information
  • AI inputs and outputs
  • Technical logs
  • Support records

Some limited information may be retained after account deletion when required for legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

8. User Choices and Deletion

Users may manage camera and microphone permissions through their device settings. Disabling a required permission may prevent certain app features from working.

Users may delete or view or update their account information through: Profile → Account → Edit

Some limited information may be retained when required for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Deleting an app account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Users must manage or cancel their subscription through their Apple account subscription settings.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or loss. We regularly review and improve our security practices as our services and technology evolve.

10. Children

The app is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that information from a child under 16 has been collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. 11. Health and Safety

The app provides general fitness, movement, yoga, Pilates, training, and instructional information. It is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, or emergency services.

Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or continuing an exercise program, particularly if they:

  • Are pregnant, recently gave birth, or are recovering from pregnancy
  • Have a current or previous injury
  • Have a medical condition, physical limitation, balance problem, chronic pain, or mobility concern
  • Have any other condition that may affect safe participation

Users should stop exercising and seek appropriate medical assistance if they experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, loss of balance, or other concerning symptoms.

AI-generated pose analysis and feedback may not identify every risk, limitation, or incorrect movement.

Users remain responsible for exercising within their abilities and following the advice of qualified healthcare and fitness professionals.

12. International Users

The app may be available in multiple countries. Personal information may be processed or stored in countries other than the user's country of residence. When personal information is transferred internationally, we handle the transfer in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its data practices, service providers, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
